A Day In The Mountains

The cliff-face in this painting was inspired by a day I spent climbing Muckish Mountain in north County Donegal many years ago.  I remember stopping near the summit to look down at the sheep perched on ledges and crevices, hundreds of feet in the air on the mountainside.  For many, a day in the mountains is the best way to get back in touch with nature, recharge and be inspired.

There are no sheep in this painting, but you do get a dog.
