Cliffs at Inis Mór

I kept this piece in my collection for many years, having visited this Galway island for a day’s cycling and painting.  I’d always liked the painting, but didn’t feel it was quite there.  I recently took it out, placed it on the easel and studied it over the course of a week.  One day I suddenly saw what it needed and with a few broad brushstrokes I got it!
